  11. This program consists of 26 playful graphic images and songs, one for
  12. each letter of the alphabet, and a keyboard piano, too!.  Songs include
  13. 'Joy to the World' by Handel, the First Prelude from Bach's Well-
  14. Tempered Clavier, the Old West's 'Yellow Rose of Texas' and 'The Battle
  15. Hymn of the Republic'.  Windmill images, polygons, spirals and zig-zags
  16. delight the child's eye.

  18.                         ALMOST NO INSTRUCTIONS
  19.  
  20. DANNY'S FIRST PROGRAM has only a few operating instructions, so a
  21. non-reading child or toddler can get along just fine.  A menu
  22. appears if you hit the space bar; hitting any key at all will start
  23. an image or song.  To prevent your toddler from messing up your
  24. files, the keyboard locks up.  The menu notes that the only way to
  25. exit the program is by hitting the ESC-key, followed directly by the Y-
  26. key.  An adult or child who can read can exit, but a toddler
  27. can't easily do so.

  30.             "Fun Things To Do and Notes on the Program"
  31.  
  32. A printed booklet is available to registered users.  It has notes on
  33. the lives of the music composers, the mathematics of the geometric
  34. images, more sonnets and lyrics, bits of humor and some imaginative
  35. things to do with the images.  Unlike other preschool programs, this
  36. program is for both children and adults.  Adults and children do better
  37. when they play with songs and images that have genuine interest for
  38. both groups.

  40. Special versions are available for science museums and schools.
  41. Order a custom version with your child's name popping up throughout
  42. the program!
